Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information FlowchartLab ("we", "us") handles when you use flowchartlab.com. We keep it short on purpose: there are no accounts, and your diagrams stay on your device unless you choose to use the AI tool.

Information we do not collect

You do not need to sign up or sign in. We do not ask for your name, email address or payment details, and we do not run user accounts.

Your diagrams

The Flowchart Maker, Icons Flowchart, Image Flowchart and 3D Flowchart tools run in your browser. Shapes, text and images you add are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. To avoid losing work, some tools save drafts or settings in your browser's local storage. That data stays on your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

The Text to Flowchart (AI) tool

This is the one tool that sends data off your device. When you press Generate, the text you typed is sent to our server, which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API to turn it into a flowchart. We do not store the text or the result on our servers. Anthropic processes the text under its own terms and privacy policy, so please do not enter passwords, personal data or confidential information into this tool.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit the site, which pages they view, roughly where they are (country and city level) and how they found us. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to collect this information. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads, which helps pay for hosting and keeps the tools free. Google and its advertising partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.

Where required by law, such as in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we show a consent message so that you can choose how cookies are used for ads.

Server logs and hosting

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like most web servers, it records technical information about each request, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time. We use this for security, troubleshooting and measuring traffic.

Children

FlowchartLab is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

Because we do not keep personal accounts, there is very little data for us to hold about you. If you are in a region with data-protection rights (such as access, deletion or objection) and want to ask about information connected to you, email us and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
